Job Description
Attack Research is seeking a full-time app sec engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding vulnerabilities in custom software, developing proof of concept (POC) exploits, fuzzing and
debugging, submitting bugs and recommendations, and interfacing with clients.
The candidate must be willing to be located in Southern California, have the right to work in the US, and be able to work in a professional office environment.
Job Requirements:
Technical Requirements
- Expertise in C#, ASP
- Debugging and static analysis
- Code scanning tools
- Memory and Web exploitation
- Vulnerability discovery
- SQL injection
- Fuzzing
- Virtualization
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Jira, GIT/Stash, and Confluence
Non-Technical Requirements
- Strong documentation skills
- Work independently and interface with clients
Desired skills (not required but considered a plus:
- SDL and Threat Modeling Experience
- C/C++, Web, SQL
- OSX security
- Linux security
- Checkmarx
- Network protocol analysis
- Scripting and automation
Interview Process
An assessment of the candidate will be done after each step. If AR determines that the candidate is qualified, he/she will move on to the next step.
